Cycling Without Age is a worldwide movement that aims to provide joy and vitality to older adults through the magic of the bicycle. Through the simple act of sharing a bike ride, it weaves a sense of community and gathers unique and invaluable stories, unlocked only by the wind and wheels. Trishaws typically carry two passengers, however there are also ones available that can take a wheelchair to enable wheelchair users to get out into the fresh air!
Cycling Without Age Oxfordshire already has 7 hubs in Oxfordshire, including Kennington, Kidlington, Woodstock, Wallingford, Didcot, Cholsey, and Benson, and are keen to establish a hub in Thame for local residents.
On Saturday 10 October, Cycling Without Age Thame will be running a trike training session for people who may be interested in volunteering for this initiative. If you you would like to attend this training session, email [email protected] for more information.
