Hosted by Thame Museum, this year's Fair will platform several historical, archaeological and architectural societies and organisations. You will get a chance to meet Edward Caswell, the Oxfordshire Finds Liaison Officer for the Portable Antiquities Scheme, with the Oxford Blues Detectorists and The Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum.
Concurrently with the launch of the book covering the project, Chris Ellis from Oxford Cotswold Archaeology (OCA) will be giving a talk to bring us up to date with what has been happening in the nine years since the Thame Meadows dig began. To accompany the talk there will be a film, never before seen in public giving further insights into the dig.
There will be several audio visual displays running throughout the day, A schedule of all talks and walks on offer will be available to help you plan your visit.
