Established in 1924 and still flourishing with a male and female membership in excess of 100. You will find our present day management well prepared for 21st century bowling.
The outdoor season starts around mid April and ends mid September. During that time we play some 40 to 50 matches against other clubs usually on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays. In these games bowlers of all abilities are invited to take part. Bowls being a social game it is important to mention most matches are followed by a light meal and if you wish, a soft or alcoholic drink from the well stocked bar.
If you are thinking you would like to come into the game you may appreciate to know that they are very liberal with their dress code; the ladies wear a blue cardigan over white, with grey or white skirts or trousers and the men wear club coloured shirts with grey or white trousers for matches and competitions.
Flat soled shoes are a must and second hand bowls can be purchased within the club.
Their playing surface is professionally maintained and is arguably the finest in Oxfordshire. In summer the club is open for play every weekday from 12 noon and from 10am on Saturday and Sunday.
