Thame 10k Road Closures

28th June 2024

This Sunday, 30th June from 9.00am, 1,000 runners will take part in this year's CPM Thame 10km road race.

Participants will run along the High Street out to Towersey, and back along the Phoenix Trail to the start/finish on the LWS playing fields.

Road closures will be in place on the Oxford Road from the roundabout to the Rising Sun pub from 8.55am to 9.20am.


There will also be a road closure on the ring road from 9.00am to 10.00am as the runners cross Howland Road twice - on the Towersey Road out and back along the Phoenix Trail.

There will be diversion signs and routes during the closure, but organisers are encouraging people to avoid driving into the town between 9.00am and 10.00am.

All profits from the run go to local charities.
