StowAg comes to Thame!

After remaining at the Stow on The Wold site for nearly 50 years, 2014 saw StowAg relocate to a significantly larger site 3 miles away in Longborough. This was to enable future expansion and improve their customer experience. StowAg added dedicated parking, a timber yard, an animal health counter, and a welding workshop to better serve their customers.

StowAg have now been fortunate enough to establish a new branch near the historic market town of Thame in Oxfordshire. Before opening, the store and yard were meticulously planned and organised to enhance their customer's experience and ensure the same level of service and customer care – whichever branch you visit.

A little bit of history…

StowAg was founded in 1969 as a family business supplying machinery and farming supplies in Stow on The Wold, the Cotswolds. Hence our name!

A loyal and solid customer base has been established over the decades, helping us bring new product ranges and specialist services to many farmers, contractors, trade and the general public.

Our mission to 'keep the countryside working' is built upon a foundation of consistent and high stock levels and a range of brands and product choices, from animal health to timber fencing and pipe fittings to footwear. Our strong supplier base is built upon a network of partnerships, maintaining stock levels across over 15,000 products online and in-store!

Why shop with us?

Whether a farmer, building contractor or a member of the public, we know how crucial it is to get the right products when you need them. That's why we offer free delivery within 50 miles of our stores. StowAg's own trucks with friendly drivers deliver around the country every day, going the extra mile, so you don't have to.

It's not all about the products, though! Our friendly team of professionals are dedicated to a personal customer experience, with many specialising in specific product ranges and able to offer advice and knowledge. Of course, we also have qualified SQPs (Suitable Qualified Person) to dispense animal health medicine at our dedicated areas in-store.

Death Cafe @ Thame Barns Centre
You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake. We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
