Still walking to the country code

6th June 2024

In 1974, Thame Urban District Council became Thame Town Council and Thame has never looked back! Between now and April 2025, TTC are taking a trip down memory lane.

This week, a big thank you to Christine Nebel for supplying this fabulous sketch map of Thame's public rights of way. It was published in 1974, TTC's very first year. It's nice to know after fifty years, we still follow the Country Code.

If you have photos of Thame or local events from the past fifty years (1974-2024), please feel free to share them with TTC for future editions of the newsletter. Email [email protected] and let’s celebrate Thame!
