17 allotment plots have been legally transferred into the ownership of the Town Council from Bellway Homes.
The Hamden Gardens Allotments site, which is accessed from Hode Garth, includes 17 plots, a car park, and shed (with cycle storage, toilet, and washbasin).
On opening the site, Deputy Mayor, Cllr David Dawson said, "I'm so pleased that these new allotments are now available and will add to Thame's green environment. Congratulations to everyone who's worked so hard over several years to get them ready."
Anyone who would like more information about renting an allotment on the site (priority will, in the first instance, be given to residents on Thame Park Estate) should contact jane.webster@thametowncouncil.gov.uk.
