7th February 2024
Thame’s “Music in the Park” will be back to bring you a day of music, dance and fun activities on Sunday 5 May. Headlining the music programme will be Special Kinda Madness (www.specialkindamadness.com). They will be performing a truly authentic set from archetypal British favourites, Madness, featuring all the wonderful iconic tunes made famous by the ‘Nutty Boys’. Other acts include popular local favourites Dragonfly and Laura Williams.
Featuring entertainment across three main stages from midday through to 9pm, there’s something for everyone. Showcasing many local acts, you will be treated to music of all genres: rock, pop, blues, acoustic, jazz and choir. There will also be something for dance fans as well with show favourites Urban Strides and Thame Stagecoach.
In addition, you’ll find all the usual attractions you’d expect at a festival, including a wide range of food, drink and craft stalls, a children’s area with fun activities, as well as Zorbing, a bouncy castle and a creche.
