Mr Jon Ryder is retiring at the end of this term after over 33 years of dedicated service to Lord Williams's School

Dear all,

Many of you will know Mr Jon Ryder who is retiring at the end of this term after over 33 years of dedicated service to Lord Williams's School.

Mr Ryder has taught Science and Chemistry to hundreds of students over the years, including current and former students who may now be parents of children here now! You may also have benefited from his support as a Tutor, Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher.

Memory Book

We are compiling a book of memories and messages for Mr Ryder which we will present to him at the end of the year. If you would like to contribute to the book, please complete the online form (link below).

If you have any photos you would like to share, please email them to the school via [email protected] and mark for attention of Victoria Timms.

Leaving Gift

Additionally, if you would like to make a donation to Mr Ryder's leaving gift, please make a bank transfer to the account below or send your donation in a sealed envelope to Visitor Reception and mark clearly on the envelope that it is for Mr Ryder's collection.

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11:00am–12:00pm (starting 28 July 2026)Where: Haddenham Park Care Home & Apartments, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8FH A supportive space to stay active, share experiences, and meet others affected by stroke.

Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
