Residents have long wanted a safe route between Haddenham and Thame for walkers, wheelers, cyclists and horse riders, and now, an opportunity has presented for locals to make their case for a Haddenham-Thame Greenway.
Haddenham Side of the Border
Buckinghamshire Council is now consulting on their proposed Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP). Simply visit this website, scroll to the bottom and click on “Online survey”. From there, click on “Aylesbury area” and scroll through the list to add a tick against the Greenway to show your support. There’s also a box where you can add your reasons.
Thame Side of the Border
If you haven’t already commented on the Oxfordshire County Council’s survey, there’s still time. The Thame LCWIP consultation has been extended to next Thursday (26 Sept). Already, there have been over 580 submissions. Click here to have your say on local cycling and walking infrastructure.
