Residents, families, team members and members of the local community enjoyed a taste of the seaside as Haddenham Park Care Home hosted its Family Beach Day.
The summer celebration transformed the Haddenham care home into its very own seaside destination, complete with live steel pan music, traditional fish and chips, ice cream, a Punch and Judy show and activities for all generations to enjoy.
The live steel pan band provided the soundtrack to the afternoon and quickly got everyone into the summer spirit, with residents even enjoying a little shimmy as the tropical sounds filled Haddenham Park.
Guests could also add a little sparkle at the Mermaid Glitter Bar, search for treasure in the sandpit and get creative with seashell decorating, with activities designed to bring residents, families and children together.
Traditional seaside favourites were also firmly on the agenda, with guests enjoying fish and chips followed by ice cream before settling down for a Punch and Judy show, which brought plenty of laughter from both younger and older generations.
The Family Beach Day was organised as an opportunity for residents to spend quality time with their loved ones while welcoming families, friends and the wider community into Haddenham Park.
