Oxfordshire v Berkshire County Cricket match – Sunday 15th to Tuesday 17th August
We are delighted to announce the 3-day match between Oxfordshire and Berkshire at Thame Town Cricket Club. Play will start at 11am each day and there will be two innings per side.
On the Sunday, there will be a 2-course lunch served on the first floor of the pavilion. There are some seats left available to book at £20 per head, all proceeds will go towards the club. Menu below:
– Cold fillet of salmon on a bed of green salad, fresh dill and lemon wedge
– Asparagus, fine bean and mange tout salad tossed with a light lemon dressing
– Warm buttered new potatoes
– Basket of fresh breads and butter
– Warm chocolate brownies served with berries and single cream

Spectators and supporters from Thame and surrounding areas will be made very welcome at the ground.
Parking at the ground is limited and we would like to encourage spectators to walk or cycle to the ground where possible.
In the hope that the better weather is not too far away we are pleased to announce that we will be holding our first Beginners / Introductory Ride of 2022. The ride is for beginners/ new riders or for those riders that are thinking of joining a club where we will run through the etiquette of riding in a group and we will answer any other questions that there might be.
We plan to ride a 25 mile flat route on quiet roads to include a coffee stop. We will leave Lord Williams Lower School at 09:30 and aim to be back by 13:00 stopping at Waterperry Gardens for a coffee and Cake. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36466654 We operate a non-drop policy so if anyone has a mechanical issue or can’t keep up we will wait for you.
Everyone riding must wear a helmet. This ride is suited to road bicycles.
A three-day County men’s match will be played at Thame Town Cricket Club from Sunday 10th July to Tuesday 12th July
Oxfordshire will take on Herefordshire at Church Meadow

Tea from 4:20pm to 4:40pm
There will be a licensed bar serving drinks and spectators are welcome

On Friday 2 September the Summer of Skate event is coming to Thame.
Hosted by ATB there is loads going on, including free skateboard and scooter coaching, an opportunity to win prizes, play games and competitions. Plus bike maintenance and security tagging/advice, Street Art experience and an ice cream van.
