Please see the below update from Rod Lavers, Thame 10k Race Secretary:
Just a quick heads up about the Thame 10k. which takes place this coming Sunday morning, June 30th 2024.
The race starts at 9.00 a.m from the LWS Upper School playing field when 1000 runners make their way through the streets of Thame and Towersey.
During the race we will have two road closures in place. 8.55 -9.15am on the Oxford Road and 9.00 - 10.00am on the Eastern by-pass between the Rugby Club roundabout and the Chinnor Road roundabout.
You are strongly advised to find an alternative route if driving in the town this Sunday.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you but the Thame 10k is organised to raise funds for a number of local charities and good causes and is the largest sporting participation event of the year, so please come out and support all those taking part.
