As the scent of spring begins to fill the air and the promise of summer barbecues beckons, Ben Bartlett, AKA BBQ Ben, is excited to announce 6 cookery demonstrations this Easter Sunday & Monday at Thame Showground with the event open between 10am and 6pm.
Ben’s classes run each day at 11am and 1pm with dishes including a delicious BBQ Bacon Sushi Roll, Cedar Wood Mackerel, Pork & Lemongrass Skewers, Watermelon Pizza, a Strawberry Cocktail and Flamed Bananas.
Ben will also be joined by Chef Andrea Wallace who trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine. Following her training she worked as a chef for several years gaining critical real life catering experience which has given her a wide range of knowledge. She then became a Senior Teacher at Leith’s teaching year diploma courses, part time and specialist courses. This role gave rise to media appearances both in TV and Radio and at the Good Food Show. Andrea will be imparting her fun and informal demonstration style and each afternoon she will be joining Ben for a joint cookery demonstration at 3pm.
The fair has lots for the whole family including OG Performance Horses (NEW FOR 2024), Horse Boarding, Falconry, The World of Dogs, Fun Fair, Shooting Village, Fishing, Fantastic Food & Drink to Try & Buy, Ferret Racing, Chainsaw Carving, Craft Village and so much more!
