Ashes Fever coming to Thame!

Excited by the Ashes series that is playing out on TV screens, radios and mobile devices?

The Grey Ashes is the over 60s series between England and Australia that starts next month and will consist of 5 one-day internationals (ODIs), plus other matches, including internationals versus Scotland and Wales.

The great news for Thame is that the 1st ODI of the series will take place right here, on Church Meadow, on Wednesday 12 July (1.00pm start). Admission will be free and the bar will be open from 12.30. More details will follow nearer to the date.

England’s over 60s currently hold the Ashes, as well as the Carib Cup, which they won in the Caribbean in February, beating Australia in the final! (see photo)
