Saturday 29th June is Armed Forces Day.

Armed Forces Day is a chance for people and organisations across the country to show their support for the armed forces community – from serving troops to service families, veterans, reservists, and cadets.

This week, Thame Town Council is flying the Armed Forces flag to show our appreciation for the brave men and women who put their country before themselves to protect our way of life.

You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake. We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality.
