Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a serious injury collision on the M40 in Oxfordshire.
At around 6.10pm on Saturday (11/11), a silver Kia Niro left the northbound carriageway, Junction 8 for Oxford, near to Junction 8a, and stopped by the barriers near the hard shoulder.
The victim, a man in his fifties, suffered serious injuries and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, where he remains.
Investigating officer PC Liam Calvert, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“Further, we would also appeal to any motorists who may have dash-cam footage of the area, to please check it in case it may have captured something that could assist the investigation.
