It was a good weekend for Thame United Senior sides, with all 5 teams winning with an aggregate score of 32 – 3.
Stenying Town FC 0 – 5 Thame United First
Thame United First Team, progressed to the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Trophy when they travelled away to West Sussex to take on Stenying Town FC, coming away with a 5 – 0 victory, There was a hat trick for Harry Alexander and one apiece from Fin Murray and Curtis Brown.
Thame Reserves 7-1 Adderbury Park
In the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division Thame United Reserves continue the good start made last week against Abingdon, following up with another three points against Adderbury Park at the ASM Stadium . The side struck early through a Jamieson Hunt penalty, followed up by a Lewis Cross finish, taking the team into half time 2-0 up. There were plenty of chances to have been 5 or 6 at the break! Goals from Chucks (2), Jordan Lawrence, Sol Kempster and another for Lewis Cross sealed a convincing victory. Thame are the early pace setters, sitting top of the Oxford Senior League after two games.
Aylesbury Royals 0 – 5 Thame United B
Thame B won their opening Aylesbury and District Division One fixture, 5-0 against opponents Aylesbury Royals. Goals from Ashley Moakes two, Charlie Stow, Julian Reed and a Matt Hill 40 yard strike.
Thame United C 8 – 1 Quainton FC
In Division Two Thame United C team thrashed newly formed Quainton FC 8 – 1, A hat trick from Ben Ward, two from Ricky Blake, and one apiece from William Holman, Euan Macfarland, and Darren Paul wrapped up the win for the home side.
Didcot Town Ladies 1 – 7 Thame United Women
Thame United Women started their campaign in the Thames Valley League Division Two with an emphatic 7 – 1 away victory, Shona Reid Evans with 4, and one a piece from Yasmin Williams, Talia Mead and Amelia Newman, were all on target.
