Work is underway at the Thame Youth Memorial as an additional name will be added to the Memorial Garden.
At the weekend, trustees carefully removed one of the name stones from the garden. The stone is now being sent to an engraver so that the additional name can be added.
As a temporary measure, the section where the stone was removed has been covered with wood. Once the engraving is complete, the stone will be returned and reinstalled in the Memorial Garden.
The Memorial Garden remains open as usual, although visitors are asked to take extra care around the area while the work is being carried out.
The trustees have apologised for any inconvenience and thanked visitors and supporters for their understanding while this important work takes place.
