The countdown is on to this year's Thame Food Festival, and organisers are looking for volunteers to help make one of Oxfordshire's biggest food events a success.
The festival is calling on local residents to join its volunteer team, with most roles taking place during the morning to assist with stallholder set-up and the Box Office. Volunteers will then have the opportunity to enjoy the festival once their shift has finished.
Those who sign up will receive a range of benefits, including free festival entry, a complimentary ticket for a guest, breakfast pastries and refreshments, a food and drink allowance, and the chance to meet new people while helping deliver the popular annual event.
Volunteering with a friend is also encouraged, with applications now open through the festival's volunteer application form.
More Than 100 Producers and Street Food Traders
This year's festival promises a packed programme, with more than 100 artisan producers, independent food businesses and international street food vendors expected to attend.
Visitors can browse a huge selection of food and drink, including artisan cheeses, charcuterie, freshly baked breads and cakes, handmade chocolates, vegan and plant-based products, local beers, ciders and spirits, as well as flavours from around the world.

Festival tickets include access to a wide range of attractions throughout the weekend, including:
- Live chef demonstrations on the Big Cookery Stage
- Live music across the festival
- Wine tastings in the Majestic Wine Studio
- The Real Cheese & Producer Tasting Studio hosted by Suzy Pelta and James Grant
- Circus skills workshops
- Live performances in the Artisan Market
Premium Experiences Available
Visitors looking to enhance their day can also book a range of premium experiences, including cocktail masterclasses, children's cookery classes with Mrs Bun the Baker and axe throwing. These activities carry an additional charge and are expected to sell out, with advance booking recommended.
