Just after 08:30 yesterday morning, Crews from Thame Fire Station, Slade Park Fire Station and Watlington Fire Station attended a Road Traffic Collison on Howland Road in Thame.
Two cars had collided when travelling in opposite directions. An elderly driver of one of the vehicles, which suffered extensive damage, was badly shaken, but fortunately they were not seriously injured and were able to be taken to hospital by a relative.
Station Manager Andy Ford added - This is a timely reminder for all drivers to take extra care, especially at this time of year.
Remember the fatal 4 -Always drive at a safe speed, don't use a mobile phone when driving, never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol and always wear a seatbelt.
