Please see the below update from Lord Williams's School:
The staff and Governors of Lord Williams's School would like to congratulate the Year 13 Class of 2024 on their hard-earned results at A Level, BTEC and Cambridge Technical Qualifications.
At the end of his final year as Headteacher, Jon Ryder commented: ‘We are extremely proud of being a fully-inclusive school, and are therefore absolutely delighted by the success of all our students. Many students have achieved top grades in A Levels, BTECs or Cambridge Technical Qualifications and we are delighted that the range of courses we are able to offer has enabled so many students to achieve such success. It is really pleasing to see the number of students who have achieved remarkable results in the face of significant challenges over the last two years. I would also like to pay tribute to the superb support they have received over their time at the school from the teaching and support staff, and – of course - from their parents and carers as well.’
14 students achieved three or more grades at, or equivalent to, A* or A and the vast majority of students who applied to University have already secured a place at one of their chosen destinations.
The following students achieved A* or A grades or equivalent in 3 or more subjects:
Lucy Aspinall, William Basnett, Poppy Cunningham, Grace Garner, Joshua Karmali, Willow Knight, Daniel Laws, Dylan Martell, Emma Morris, Benjamin Mould, Siofra Sims, Lucy Upson, Amelie Van Dijk and Lily Watford.
We wish all students the very best for the future, whether they are continuing with their studies or beginning their careers.
Jon Ryder, Headteacher
Sean Wilson, Head of Sixth Form
