A THAME opticians has welcomed four new colleagues to its team.
On the back of demand, Specsavers on the High Street has recruited four additional members – taking its team total to 16. The busy optical and audiology store opened just over three years ago, building up its community base with a commitment to offering the very best in optical and audiology care.
The new quartet, who all live locally, are optical assistants, Suhaymah Khan and Shara Celliers, lead optometrist, Ash Farooq, and store manager, Leigh Spampinato.
‘We are delighted to welcome the new recruits to our team,’ comments Neil Perry, store director, Specsavers Thame. ‘We have been welcomed into the community since we arrived in Thame three years ago, and so it feels good to be recruiting locally as part of our focus to continue caring for the sight and hearing needs of those around us in years to come.’
The four members bring a wealth of optical and retail experience to the store. Ash, who will head up the optical team, has worked in the industry for more than 15 years including the hospital sector. Suhaymah and Shara are both experienced in working with opticians and audiologists, while Leigh has moved to the area after managing a number of independent stores on the south coast.
