More useful information about the 121 bus

Following questions from members of the public regarding the 121 town bus, we contacted the operator, Z and S transport for more information and hope that the following makes things clearer as to the routes this bus takes:

Referring to the timetable, for buses departing from Warren Mead from 08.06 - 15.06 and then from 15.51 - 17.51, you should refer to the first map below. The first loop (pink) goes from Warren Mead to the Town Hall via the Upper HIgh Street and North Street. At 08.15 - 15.15 and then from 16.00 - 18.00 it departs the Town Hall on second loop (orange) which goes via Towersey Drive and Cromwell Avenue and back to the Town Hall. From 08.30 - 15.30 and then from 16.15 - 18.15 it departs the Town Hall on the third loop (yellow) which goes along East Street and returns to Warren Mead.

Again referring to the timetable, for buses departing from Warren Mead from 08.36 - 14.36 and then from 16.21 - 17.21, you should refer to the second map below. The first loop (purple) goes from Warren Mead to Lord Williams's Upper School via the High Street. From 09.00 - 15.00 and then from 16.45 - 17.45 it departs from opposite Lord Williams's Upper School on the second loop (blue) and returns to Warren Mead via the High Street and East Street.

Bus passes can be used after 9.00am and the bus can be hailed to stop anywhere along these routes, not just at the bus stops. Please feel free to pop into the Town Hall and pick up a timetable!

The Town Council is looking into the possibility of setting up a community-led hopper bus. This project is in its early stages, however if you would like to get involved with the scheme please email [email protected] for more information.

Death Cafe @ Thame Barns Centre
You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake. We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
