Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision on the M40.
At around 6am on Wednesday 21 December, officers were called to the M40 eastbound between the exit and entry slip roads for the Oxford services following a collision involving a Yamaha motorbike and a Skoda Superb.
The driver of the motorbike, a man in his fifties, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.
No one else was injured and no arrests have been made.
PC Neil Bowker, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, based at Bicester, said: “We are carrying out an investigation into the circumstances of this collision that has left a man with serious injuries.
“We believe there were a few vehicles in the area at the time of the incident. If you witnessed this collision and have not already spoken to police, we would encourage you to do so.
“We would also ask anyone with a dash camera to please check their footage if they were driving in the vicinity at the time of the incident and to upload any footage via our online portal or call 101, quoting reference 43220570862.”
