Vaccination clinics at the Rycote Practice

Thank you to patients who have booked an appointment at one of our vaccination clinics. Over 2400 patients have already received their autumn vaccine boosters and more than 1300 more have booked to receive theirs with us in the coming weeks. We have managed to secure additional vaccines and still have appointments available at the following clinics:

Saturday 22 October 8.30am - 12.30pm
Saturday 5 November 8.30am - 12.30pm
Tuesday 15 November 1.30pm - 4.30pm

All appointments are available to book online NOW via the NHS app or Patient access if you are registered for online services. Please log on to book. If you do not have online access you can call 01844 267935.

You are eligible for a free flu vaccination and Covid booster if you are aged 50 years old and over (including those aged 50 by 31 March 2022) and have not received the 2022 booster vaccinations.

You are also eligible for free vaccinations if you are between the age of 18 and 50 and suffer from certain underlying health conditions, live with someone who is immunocompromised, are pregnant, or receive a carer’s allowance or are the main carer of an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick.

When attending your vaccination appointment we respectfully ask that you:

  • Attend at your exact appointment time – coming early (or late) is not helpful as it creates longer queues
  • Wear a mask to protect yourself and other vulnerable patients who will be at the surgery
  • Wear something short sleeved under an outer garment so that the vaccinator can easily access your upper arm near the shoulder
  • Do not bring your car if you are able to get the surgery by other means as we expect the car park to be extremely busy
