For the eleventh year running, Community Christmas Thame aims to provide a lunch on Christmas Day for the isolated and vulnerable residents of the Thame area.
This year, Julia Bond will take over the organising of the event as Kathy takes a step back. Due to the generosity of the Thame Lodges, this year's event will once again be held at the Masonic Hall in the High Street.
On Christmas Eve food will be prepared and the venue decorated. Volunteers collect guests who require transport on Christmas morning and once at the Masonic Hall will enjoy some entertainment and a traditional, freshly cooked lunch. Those who are unable to attend have the opportunity to have a meal delivered to their home.
