Winner of Great British Bake Off 2019 to star on stage at Thame Food Festival

Starring on the Thame Food Festival Stage for 2020 will be the winner of Great British Bake Off 2019 - David Atherton.

Before applying to be a contestant on the show, David worked as an international health advisor, spending time in UK Aid-funded hospitals overseas. My First Cook Book is David’s first book for children, with a focus on fun and imaginative recipes that are sure to inspire the youngest of readers to get cooking.

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11:00am–12:00pm (starting 28 July 2026)Where: Haddenham Park Care Home & Apartments, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8FH A supportive space to stay active, share experiences, and meet others affected by stroke.

Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
