What's being discussed at the Community Services Council Meeting?

16th July 2026

The Town Council’s Community Services Committee will meet on Tuesday 21 July at 6.30pm in the Upper Chamber at Thame Town Hall.  Residents are welcome to attend.  Full agenda and reports are available on the Council website.

The committee will receive updates and discuss a range of matters including:

  • Events in Thame:
    • Taste of Thame
    • Thame Art Crawl
    • Christmas in Thame
    • Thame Fair
  • Town Awards
  • The Town Council’s Communications and Community Engagement which will include an update on the website tender process.
  • Elections 2027 and publicity
  • Livestreaming Meetings and Improvements to Audio/Visual in the Upper Chamber
  • Community Services & Information Centre statistics
  • Community Safety including a written update on local policing from Thames Valley Police, defibrillators, speed indicator devices and Nelson Street Experimental One-Way Restriction
  • Community Partnerships – the committee will receive the latest minutes from Thame Alliance Group and Thame Youth Council, and the latest updates on Padel Courts, and ACE week.
  • Project Link – Thame’s Community & Youth Centre

Members of the public are welcome at all meetings.  A public participation period is set aside at the start of each meeting in which the public may ask questions or make comments regarding any matter on the agenda.  In order to speak at a Council meeting, members of the public must apply in writing to the Town Clerk by 5pm on the day preceding the meeting.
