Sue and Byron Harvey, who live in Wellington Street, Thame have raised over £450 for charity thanks to the people of Thame donating as they pass their Christmas lights.
The total amount raised was £450.59 and the money will be going to Dogs For Good (Assistance Dogs) and Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Sue and Byron are both paraplegic and met through the charity Dogs for the Disabled, which provided them both with their then-dogs Inca and Isis, which turned out to be twins.
Sue said: "We would like to thank the very generous people of Thame and District and would like to extend our thanks to our amazing electricians Kevin and Richard, without these guys it would not have been possible to raise this lovely amount for our chosen charities"
