A tragic accident on the M40 has resulted in the deaths of two men and the closure of the motorway in both directions between junction 9 and junction 8a. The incident occurred at approximately 10:41 PM last night (March 24).
Emergency services responded to the scene, where two men were pronounced dead. Two others sustained serious injuries and have been transported to the hospital for treatment. Their current condition remains undisclosed.
Authorities have confirmed that the M40 will remain closed for several hours as investigations continue. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while officers work at the scene.
