Update 13:07- OX1, OX2, OX3, OX4, OX9, OX10, OX14, OX33, OX44 & HP18 - No water or low pressure

Last updated: 06/10 13:07

We’re really sorry if you still have no water or low pressure following a large burst pipe on the Oxford Ring Road.

We’ve completed repairs overnight but technical difficulties mean the supply network is taking longer to refill than we’d expected – we anticipate things should be back to normal overnight.

In addition to two of the bottled water stations that we opened yesterday, we also have a site running in Thame. We’ve closed our site at Horspath Cricket Club.

Where can you get water?

We have three bottled water stations open at:

All of the bottled water stations are open to vehicles as well as visitors on foot. If you drive there, we can load water into your vehicle.

These supplies are for essential use, like drinking, cooking and hand washing. Please be considerate and don’t take more than you need.

We’re also working with local authorities to support priority customers, such as households in vulnerable circumstances, schools and farms with livestock. If you have a neighbour who is in a vulnerable situation, please check in on them.

Customers whose water is returning can find more information here.

Traffic disruption

We’d also like to apologise to drivers affected by traffic disruption. You can find more information on Oxfordshire County Council’s website.

This disruption will unfortunately continue until at least the weekend and possibly into early next week.

Thank you for your patience while we work to get things back to normal. We’ll provide more news here as soon as we have further information.
