Lotte Duncan, who organises the Thame Food Festival has confirmed that she has booked two new chefs for the iconic food festival.
Jun Tanaka and Tristan Welch will be appearing at Thame this year, showing us all how to cook some stonking food! The event will again be over two days and will be on September 29th and September 30th.
Lotte posted the below on her website earlier this week:
“I’m one of two birds who run this amazing festival and last year saw us going to two days with a change of venue within the town. It was a BIG change, but one that worked so well and we are now building on it’s success.
I’ve got some brilliant chefs booked so far, and we’ll be making announcements about them soon, but I just wanted to let you know of a couple of chaps that are coming and who are great friends of mine. I’m very fond of them both.
We met when we were flown over to New York to appear in a Food Network show called ‘Chopped’. It’s like Ready Steady Cook on Speed – probably the only way to describe it! It was a roller coaster ride from start to finish and I came away with these lovely boys as my chums too. Happy Days!”
Jun does his cooking at The Ninth Restaraunt in London whilst Tristan does his, at Parker’s Tavern in Cambridge.
