Tree planting, Next Repair Cafe, Sustainability Spark Coffee morning, and Thame Green Business Expo

TREE/ HEDGE PLANTING THIS WEEK

We have another tree planting party taking place this Thursday 16th February 2023 at the Skatepark on Tythrop Way opposite the Queen Elizabeth Circle recreation Ground.  Last week we prepared the ground and planted 50 hedge plants and on Thursday we aim to plant as many as are needed to complete the hedge from the crossing to the gates.

If you would like to join in then please do let us know that you are coming by emailing [email protected] and then please arrive around 9.30am.  Bring a spade, gardening gloves and strong boots/ wellies.

REPAIR CAFE - 4th March 2pm to 4pm

The next Thame Repair Cafe at Racquets Fitness Centre is on Saturday 4th March from 2pm to 4pm.  So save up your small electrical items that need attention, or your jackets or clothes for the sewers to repair.  Also blunt knives can be sharpened and mechanical items like toys or clocks can be looked at.    Any questions please direct to [email protected].  Info about the repair cafes : https://21stcenturythame.co.uk/2022/05/09/new-repair-cafe-thame/.

NEW SUSTAINABILITY SPARK COFFEE MORNING - Tuesday mornings 9am to 10am

Thame Green Business Expo Tickets, Thu 16 Mar 2023 at 10:00 | Eventbrite – A business to business Eco Fair where local businesses can see what can be done and showcase any Eco products and services they offer.

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
