Towersey Manor Fete Promises a Quintessentially English Afternoon of Fun for All the Family

27th May 2025

The much-loved Towersey Manor Fete is back and set to take place on Sunday, June 22nd from 12:30pm to 4:00pm, promising a quintessentially English afternoon of fun, food, and festivities for all ages.

Held in the beautiful grounds of Towersey Manor, this charming village fete is packed with entertainment and activities for everyone. From classic games like the coconut shy and skittles to children’s races, there’s excitement at every turn. Plus, don't miss your chance to win fantastic prizes in the silent auction, tombola, and raffle.

Visitors can explore a wide range of stalls featuring toys, books, home produce, plants, bric-a-brac, and the elegant Manor Boutique. Kids will love bouncing on the bouncy castle, while grown-ups can unwind with a glass of Pimms or a pint of beer on the lawn.

There will be delicious food options, including a barbecue and falafel stall, and of course, no summer fête is complete without a cream tea served in the shade of the barn. For dessert, grab an ice cream and stroll through the glorious Manor gardens.

Live music and performances will set the tone throughout the afternoon, featuring the Ian English Jazz & Blues Band, the Village Voices Community Choir, and the energetic Towersey Horseshoes Morris dancers.

Make sure to join us on Sunday, June 22nd from 12:30 to 4:00pm for a truly memorable afternoon in one of Oxfordshire’s most beautiful settings.
Regrettably, no dogs are allowed.

You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake.
