The volunteers who put together the Love in a Bag donations are already thinking ahead to Christmas 2023. If you have any unwanted Christmas or birthday gifts such as toiletries, hats, scarves, gloves, bags, rucksacks, stationery items and sweets (if they have a long use by date), or if you can afford to add a little something to your shopping basket, please drop them into the box in the Information Centre at the Town Hall.
This project is running to help homeless men and women in the area, to give them a thoughtful gift at a time when many are sleeping rough. Bags are also going to victims of domestic abuse who have had to flee their homes.
