Thame Hub caught up with Karoline Thorpe to find out how yesterdays Horse and Country show got on.
"Today was a great success, fantastic support from the competitors and public, we had some wonderful Horses & Ponies and competitors, we had Miniature Shetland Ponies right up to Shire Horses and everything on between, the Sheep Show was fantastic with a lot of support, Dog Show had record entries, the Trade Stands were well supported, the team behind the scenes are second to none with out them the show would not have been possible, our Show Captain and 1st Mate Chub and Sally Castle showed us fantastic support, to ALL our sponsors a massive thank you without your continued support the show would not have been the success today that it was, there has been a show on this date for the last 148 years and we are looking forward to next years show that will be held on Thursday 21st September 2017, so to the people of Thame and surrounding areas thank you for attending and see you all again next year."
So there's an early date for the diary - confirmation that the show will be on again next year.
