Thame United 7–1 Brislington FC
A dominant performance from Thame United saw them cruise into the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup with a comprehensive 7–1 victory over Brislington.
Thame started quickly, with Curtis Brown opening the scoring after just two minutes before Mark Riddick doubled the lead with a header on 16 minutes. Thame continued to dominate and could have been further ahead at half-time.
New signing Roger James made an instant impact on his debut, scoring twice, while Charlie Bacon, Greg Hackett and Ed Daffern also found the net to complete an impressive victory.
Brislington grabbed a consolation goal in the second half, but Thame were always in control and deservedly progressed to the next round.
The First Qualifying Round takes place on 6 September, with the draw taking place on Monday 25 August.
