Thame United's new artificial pitch is starting to take shape.
The eagerly anticipated new training facility at Meadow View Park is really starting to take shape as the external fencing & floodlight pylons appeared this week.
The contractors anticipate a completion date of mid-April which will hopefully coincide with the return of football.
Another positive was confirmation of planning approval for the lights & stands around the main outside grass pitch. Work on the lights is anticipated to start within the next few weeks.
Chairman of TFP Richard Carr said:
"Despite lockdown the contractors have been able to crack on with the training pitch development, meaning completion has not been delayed. This Artificial Pitch combined with the lights around our second full size pitch will further enhance Meadow View Park’s position as the premier football facility in the area. All that will be missing will be football!”
