Thame Town CC announce J. Bennett & Son as new shirt sponsor

Local Insurance broker, J. Bennett & Son, have become Thame Town CC's new shirt sponsor and will ramp up its support for Thame Town CC during 2017 and 2018.

Bennett & Son, Insurance Brokers, have been working alongside local businesses in the Thame, Oxford and Buckinghamshire areas for many years. Established in 1908, their philosophy is building long-term partnerships with their clients by taking a personal approach to insurance. They are an independent insurance broker, specialising in commercial insurance and offering expert and impartial advice.

Their Director, Mark Nicholl, has enjoyed supporting the club over the past year, so when the opportunity for sponsorship arose he was keen to get J Bennett and Son  more involved.

In Mark's words, "Thame Cricket Club is based at the heart of the Town and as a resident I have really enjoyed their regular events and fixtures.   Clubs like these are incredibly important to the community but, for them to continue to thrive, they must be supported by local businesses. It's a pleasure to be able to be a major sponsor for the next two years and at J. Bennett & Son we are very much looking forward to helping them fulfil their next chapter, the main target of which is of course the development of a brand new clubhouse. "

At the signing of the sponsorship deal last week, Matt Swain (Vice-Chair of the club) thanked Mark and MD Peter Sutcliffe for their generous support, on behalf of the hundreds of people in the local area who benefit directly and indirectly from the club's coaching, playing and social activity, female and male, young and old.

Bennett & Son now join the Mobalpa kitchen business as one of the club's main sponsors. For more details of the club's activities, please visit www.thamecricket.org.uk

We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
