The Thame Rotary Annual Swimathon has once again proven to be a resounding success, bringing together the community for a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising. Participants of all ages showcased their enthusiasm and dedication, making waves in support of local charitable causes.
All those who took part not only performed exceptionally well but, more importantly, thoroughly enjoyed the event. Their efforts were made possible thanks to the generous support of sponsors, including Lucy Electrics, Thame Leisure Centre, and B P Collins.
A special thank you goes to Thame's Mayor, Andy Gilbert, for graciously presenting medals to the swimmers, recognizing their fantastic achievements. Gratitude is also extended to The Inner Wheel Club of Thame, whose delicious refreshments kept participants and spectators energized throughout the event.
The event would not have been possible without the dedication of Thame Rotary members, who volunteered their time to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their commitment highlights the power of community spirit, all in aid of raising much-needed funds for local initiatives.
With another successful Swimathon completed, Thame Rotary continues to champion charitable causes, demonstrating how teamwork and generosity can make a meaningful impact.
