A COLOURFUL sponsorship opportunity has seen a Thame opticians get involved with a local event that supports Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Specsavers on the High Street sponsored the green paint station in the children’s colour run at Lord William’s Upper School, an event that was run alongside the CPM Thame 10k which is organised by Thame Runners. Throughout the course, participants were covered in multi-coloured paint powder at points along the route.
‘We had great fun at the colour run and all came away covered in a variety of different coloured paints!’ says Specsavers Thame store director, Nishita Chauhan. ‘Everyone taking part seemed to have a great time too and it was brilliant to see the local community come together to support the air ambulance.
‘We gave out lots of optical and hearing goodies too which went down well with everyone. The team was proud to support the event and thrilled that it helped to raise money for such a vital service.’
