Thame Museum needs YOU for their next exhibition!

Thame Museum's next temporary exhibition, 'There's No Place Like Home' (opening September 2026) will focus on housing in Thame. They plan to examine shifts in living conditions, sanitation, and home ownership, and encourage visitors to reflect on how housing shapes everyday life and identity.

They are inviting Thame residents to take part in a very short survey looking at their own homes, so that they can reflect your thoughts and ideas in the exhibition.

The survey is completely anonymous so please do not add any personal details.  However, if you have any additional information that you think they may find useful, please get in touch via [email protected].

Please complete the survey by Friday 26th June. Paper copies of the questionnaire are available at the Museum, Library and Town Hall. For more details visit Thame Museum's website.

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11:00am–12:00pm (starting 28 July 2026)Where: Haddenham Park Care Home & Apartments, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8FH A supportive space to stay active, share experiences, and meet others affected by stroke.

Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
