Thame Hub is proud to sponsor Thame United’s Liam Tack

Thame Hub is proud to announce that they will be sponsoring Thame United’s Liam Tack for the remainder of the season.

Liam joined Thame United in January 2018 from Egham Town. He plays predominantly on the right wing and is known for his pace and good passing ability. On top of this he also chips-in with his fair share of goals.

Thame United currently sit 5th in Evo-Stik Southern Division One Central and we caught up with Liam to find out how the season is going so far.

How did you get into Football?

“I first started playing football at the age of 3 or 4 maybe. “

Where have you played prior to joining Thame United?

“I was at Reading and Wycombe Wanderers as a youngster but my first men’s team was Amersham Town, then Flackwell Heath, Egham town and then Thame.”

You’ve been at Thame United just over a year now how are you finding it?

“It’s a great club, all the boys are great, we have a good laugh. The people behind the scenes are also fantastic and will help with whatever the players need!”

How many goals have you scored this season?

“4 or 5 I think”

What’s an average day in the life of Liam Tack?

“I work in a school with special needs children so 8-4 that’s me! Then if I’m not at training or playing a game I’ll be at home chilling out.”

Any personal targets for the end of the season?

“A few more goals would be lovely and of course making the play offs would be great.”

What’s your favourite thing about Thame United?

“Got to be the pitch.”

Any message for Thame Hub’s followers?

“A big thanks for sponsoring and hopefully see lots of you at games and don’t be afraid to say hello!”

Good luck to Liam and Thame United for the rest of the season!
