Thame has been recognized as one of the best places to live in the southeast of England, according to The Times' 2025 guide

25th March 2025

Thame has been named as one of the best places to live in the UK. Thame in south Oxfordshire is one of 10 locations in the south east ranked in the 2025 Sunday Times Best Places To Live guide. The annual guide, released March 21, includes 72 locations across the UK.

The town's appeal is further enhanced by its excellent transport links, providing easy access to London and surrounding areas, which is particularly beneficial for commuters. Thame's rich history, coupled with a variety of local shops, restaurants, and cultural events, contributes to its unique character and desirability.

The recognition by The Times highlights Thame's commitment to fostering a strong sense of community while offering the conveniences of modern living. This accolade is a testament to the town's ongoing efforts to provide a high quality of life for its residents.

For those considering relocation, Thame presents an attractive option that combines the best of both worlds—a thriving community set against the backdrop of Oxfordshire's picturesque countryside.
