Last Wednesday a meeting chaired by the Mayor, Cllr Paul Cowell was held in the Town Hall to discuss ways in which the town can best help and support both refugees arriving in Thame and their hosts. Representatives from the local churches, schools and GP surgeries attended alongside those from organisations such as Sharing Life Trust and Citizens' Advice, plus several town councillors, local businesses and residents. As a result of this meeting a page dedicated to Ukraine has been created on the Town Council's website https://www.thametowncouncil.gov.uk/ukraine/ which aims to provide as much up to date information as possible.
