Thame fire station is currently undergoing essential refurbishment works from 1 to 30 November. Due to these works the local on call fire fighters will need to utilise some space on the market square for parking throughout this period, including at weekends and over a 24 hour period. As such an area has been kindly designated by Thame Town Council for this specific use.
Please could you help by:
- keeping the spaces clear at all times to enable our firefighters to park their vehicles and respond to emergencies 24/7.
- leaving the cones in place - only 10 spaces have been allocated throughout November for this purpose.
All cars parked in this area will be required to display an orange permit at all times. They will not be using the car park on Monday evening/Tuesday day time, this is to allow Thame market to continue, but the parking spaces will be reinstated on Tuesday evening.
Thank you for your assistance in helping us to keep our community safe
