Thame COP began at the time of the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow. It aims to connect Thame to the international COP events and bring local organisations together in action on climate and biodiversity. The campaign has generated commitments to act from over 50 organisations locally which can be seen on the Thame COP26 website: https://thamecop.co.uk. Thame COP completes its first round of activity with a presentation to Thame Town Council on 1st March, and a 'COP Social' in the Town Hall on 10th March, where organisations who joined the Thame's own 'Conference of the Parties' will come together and celebrate their achievements.
