Thame Carnival 2022 - Date? Saturday 4th June 2022

Brits will indeed enjoy an extra bank holiday in 2022 in honour of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Last year, the Government announced that the May bank holiday weekend would be moved to Thursday 2 June, and an additional bank holiday on Friday 3 June will see a four day weekend to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

It has been suggested that Saturday 4th June 2022 would be the perfect date for the Carnival, to take advantage of this long Bank Holiday weekend. Please email [email protected] to let them know your thoughts.

Please come along to the provisional Carnival meeting in the Racquets bar on Friday 13th August 2021 at 7.30pm

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11:00am–12:00pm (starting 28 July 2026)Where: Haddenham Park Care Home & Apartments, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8FH A supportive space to stay active, share experiences, and meet others affected by stroke.

Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
