Thame was alive with the sound of music this weekend

Thame was alive with the sound of music this weekend, as Elms Park welcomed Music in the Park for the 7th year running on Sunday 30th April.

The weather wasn’t perfect but the rain just about held off as music lovers flocked to Elms Park with picnics, chairs and dancing shoes to listen to local bands such as Skasouls, 2am Blue, Nikki Loy, Mercia, Working Dog and many more.

There were two stages running consecutively next to each other as well as a ‘Crash Music tent’ for acoustic performances. There was also Ben’s Buskstop where anyone could turn up and play. Ben’s Buskstop was a tribute to much loved Thame resident Ben Guest.

Well done to all who organised, volunteered and entertained in this special event. Thame was rocking!
